Terms & Conditions of the Salsa City forum

  1. All visitors may read and post in the forum but if you become a registered user you will gain some advantages:
    • You will be able to edit your posts (there is a three-hour editing time-limit)
    • Your name or nickname will be reserved and nobody else will be able to post in your name
    • You will be able to get email notification of replies in your threads
  2. Posts should be interesting, entertaining, and/or informative. Ill-mannered, abusive, sarcastic or trivial messages will be removed
  3. Please post topics in the appropriate forum and stay on the topic of the thread when replying to messages
  4. Messages posted on this forum are the sole opinion and responsibility of the poster
  5. If you start a new thread, you should give it a meaningful and descriptive title
  6. All forum messages should be in English, to enable the greatest number of people to understand and participate in the discussions
  7. You must not put your topic title or message text in ALL CAPITALS, especially if your are ADVERTISING something
  8. You must not use crude or offensive language
  9. You must not post sensitive personal information about any other user
  10. URLs are welcome if they lead to pertinent and interesting information. You must not add your url to every post you make. Ideally no url should appear twice on one page (10 messages)
  11. Posts may be lightly edited by the forum administrator for clarity and technical reasons such as missing or misplaced punctuation, non-displaying characters, broken links etc

NOTE: From time to time it may be necessary to delete a message for violation of these terms. If your message is deleted, and if you are a registered member of the forum, you will probably get an email telling you why it had to go. If you are not, then you won't. In any event, comments about deleted messages, and about moderation decisions in general, are not allowed in the forum itself, and any that appear will be deleted.
