You may have seen in local press that we are running a new event on November 29th in the City Hall Cardiff called ‘A Chance to Dance’ and we are inviting people to take part in a full day of sponsored dance, trying out different styles and helping raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care to provide more care for our patients with cancer and other life limiting illnesses both at our hospice in Penarth and in their own homes throughout South Wales.
We are hoping that anyone who loves dance will come along and join in the workshops in ballroom, salsa, lindy hop, line dancing and bollywood. There will also be a mass dance to finish off the day where they will all take part in a specially choreographed dance routine together.
I hope that you can help me to get as many local people as possible all dancing so that we can turn this into a wonderful annual event in Cardiff.
