Hi All,

You’ve already seen and heard what a great and popular salsa class and dance night the regular Tuesdays at Las Havanas in Cardiff is. Now you have even more reason to enjoy, starting this Tuesday its the launch of our regular monthly Bachata class and Dance Night!!! (And Salsa!) :

Beginners (salsa) : 7.30pm
All levels Bachata : 8.30pm

Music and dancing available from 8.30pm on main floor. (8.30pm to 9.30pm music and dancing mostly dedicated to beginners). Music pumped up and main Bachata and Salsa dancing from 9.45pm till 12am downstairs on the main floor. Free and Open to all.

Second class will be an all levels Bachata class on the final Tuesday of each month, (a run thru all the basics and on to a complete and lovely routine) followed by special Bachata and Salsa Dance night. Lots of extra Bachata Music! Open to all. All other Tuesdays the second class is an improver/intermediate salsa class with free Salsa and Bachata dancing till midnight.

£4.50 for any one class
£5.50 for Both classes

NUS £1 off everything. (Please show full membership NUS card).

Plenty of free parking available in The Parade right around the corner from the venue. Classes are in the huge upstairs function room, dancing is downstairs on the main floor.

Superb Latino venue with open glass front. Full range of drinks and cocktails and buy one get one free on the delicious tapas!

Tonights the night folks!! We have a LOT of extra people coming down wanting to learn and improve on their Bachata repertoire from us and enjoy a night of a healthy dose of Bachata music and dancing... there won’t be any playing of just 2 token bachata tracks and that’s your lot... PLENTY of Bachata music to keep everyone happy... and there will be salsa music also!

Awesome Night!!! Thanks to everyone that attended. We were packed to the rafters AGAIN!!! Thanks for all the great comments and feedback about our classes and dance night!

Am now suffering from ‘Salsa Teacher Flu’, sore throat from talking so loudly even with a mic (with so many people you can be a rowdy lot!!! Had to shush everyone so many times!! Lol). And aching body from dancing pretty much non stop till gone midnight! We loved every minute of it and can’t wait to do it all again!!!

I’ve put some pictures up. Apologies for the poor quality. We have been trying to get a proper camera and photographer in for a few weeks now. These will do for now (taken with my crappy cameraphone with short viewing angle!) until we get a proper photographer in.

Hi All!!!

Just a reminder. This Tuesday the 25th of Aug is the last Tuesday of the month and so its Bachata Class and Dance Night at the hugely popular Las Havanas!!! The 8.30pm class becomes a Bachata class for all levels, a run thru the basics and then on to a complete lovely and new routine! Followed by dancing down on the main floor till late, with extra Bachata music being played as well as the usual Salsa, Merengue and Reggaeton.

Am also celebrating my Birthday on the 25th of Aug and we have LOT of extra people coming down for the dancing till late so be prepared for a pumping night!

Hey All!!!

Yep its that time of the month again that you have all been waiting for! This Tuesday the 29th of September its our monthly BACHATA night! Last Tuesday of every month the second class is a Bachata class open to all levels. A run thru the basics and then on to a complete and lovely routine! And more Bachata music than you can shake a stick at during the club section of the night!

You’ve all been talking about the weekly Tuesdays at Las Havanas (and the Wednesdays at Terra Nova!), most of you have seen the pictures (link above) and been experiencing the Tuesdays (and Wednesdays!)... if there is still anyone left that has not been what are you waiting for!? Salsa and bachata dancing to great music till late in a superb venue, superb dancefloor with a great atmosphere and with all your favourite dancers and the dancing is FREE!

Expect this Tuesday to be not just our normal very very busy... but very very very very very busy!!!

Hey All!!!

Just a reminder this Tues the 27th Oct being the last Tuesday of the month means instead of our normal weekly busy and popular salsa class and dance night, its our busy and popular Bachata night at Las Havanas! Salsa Class and Bachata class and dancing till late.

Don’t forget the Fancy Dress Halloween Party this Wednesday the 28th of October at our venue Terra Nova in Cardiff Bay with an 8 piece all girl salsa show with ‘Salsa Caprice’. Its all set to be a hugely busy and awesome night! We have a LOT of people coming. Details here :

We are expecting a huge turnout out folks... and that’s not cos we always get a huge turnout anyways every week, it’s not even cos its Bachata night... it’s cos we will also be celebrating Leann’s Birthday!
