Hi Salseros,

This is rather short notice and many of you may already have other plans for this weekend, but if you’re free and fancy trip up to Worcester, then it’s a chance to be involved in a Salsa class world record attempt! Albeit in an unlikely location?

Worcester is only 1½ hours up the motorway from Cardiff, and Worcester Warriors Rugby Club is straight off J6 of the M5 with plenty of parking, so it’s really easy to get to.

The event is being organised by BBC Hereford and Worcester and is being supported by local salsa organisations including Just Latin Salsa, Salsa Squad and Salsa De Sol.

There are two live bands which are Mojito from Manchester and Palenke from London, who will also be visiting Cardiff at the end of the month.

Full details can be found by clicking on the link below. Only thing is, it starts rather early in the day which is rather unusual for a large Salsa gathering.

Salsa De Sol’s website claims there will be at least 1000 people taking part, so maybe it’s a chance to be involved in a bit of history!
