Sounds a great idea, though I’m surprised to see you showing such faith in human nature given some of your previous comments!

I am the eternal optomist Tom despite some of the experience of the past! I’m not greedy add to that, times have changed and some people are struggling! Apart from that I need to compete with people who have day jobs and aren’t bothered whether they make sufficient money running Salsa... So another business model had to be found!

I think this is it and I will put my faith in human nature and peoples understanding of the principle of fairness. I’m hoping for at least 80% of people being at least 80% fair!

If I am wrong and my optimism and beleifs are challenged over this... I’ll simply start charging a competitive rate for entry! As I firmly beleive this will be the best Late night Salsa Club for miles around, anyway!

Those who would seek to be less than fair i.e. Get away without Tipping, will probably end up paying more in the long run... (providing they’d still want to come) that wouldn’t be a smart move on their part... I think you will agree...

I do have faith in human nature, 80% of people are 80% good in my experience! The other 20% tend to make their presence felt a bit more by their actions but well, what can you do?

Hopefully Tom, we will see your good self once in a while!

Take care till we do!

Until recently we had a presence in Bristol every Wednesday since 1995... always in a Night Club... and always open till 2am...

The good news is this legendary Salsa Night is back!!!
A brand new concept in that it is FREE entry (though we do ask you to leave a fair tip if you had a good time), but basically it is the same format as the night we’ve always run...

It is in fact the original Fiesta Havana night though we have now moved to the newly improved Air Conditioned Warehouse, with Two Floors of Dancing Space and the Best Sound System of any Club in Bristol - the details for the night are in the first post of this thread... By the response we’ve had so far this night will be big!! 45 definite and 195 maybe on facebook... and that on our first night back in 18 months!!

I would offer anyone coming from Wales a discount but it is already £0 to enter (gratuity at your discretion) with 3 Levels of Classes starting at 8:00 pm included... So come and join the Party with Tip Top Music from eldj, teaching by Tip Top Tim & Party Animations from Tip Top Girls Claire, Sian & Anetta

Well I was looking forward to last night!

After having gotten home @ 2:25 am … I’m now looking fondly back at a very respectable first night with around 90 people through the door... Yeah baby, we’re back!!!

Just like to say thanks for all the Tips people, especially the tip about keeping the treble down and the bass present whilst making sure the volume doesn’t reach uncomfortable levels!!! Lol

We’ve been around for 15 years providing Top quality Salsa Club Nights to Bristol and the South West!... Now we are at the Warehouse Night Club (home to many great Latin Parties past and present... including Fiesta, Brazilian Beatz, SalsaMania) 57 Prince Street, Bristol BS1 4QH

This is a gentle reminder that Tip Top Salsa is on every Wednesday and is FREE to enter (not a bad saving if you’re coming from Wales) though we do ask you to leave a Tip...

We had around 90 people (Many Latinos included) for our Launch night last week and this week looks to be another good one with people coming from Gloucester, Exeter, Taunton, Wales, Bristol and Bath to name a few!! Hope to see you there, if not this week then maybe sometime soon!

Well... we had around 90 people for our launch night two weeks ago and this week we had another good one with 116 people on the clicker/through the door... People came from Gloucester, Exeter, Taunton, Wales, Bristol and Bath to name a few!! Also a good number of Latinos I haven’t seen for while

We hope you guys can make it across sometime to check the fact, that one of the most talked about Salsa nights of the past 10 years is definitely back on the Salsa Map... Please look to the first post in this thread to check the details

Hope to see you there, if not this week then maybe sometime soon!

Just to be fair to people thinking of coming over from Cardiff, although the night is free (though you are encouraged to leave a good tip) the classes are only for 30 mins each so if you are one particular level then you will only get 30 mins.
Also you would have to wait an hour if you wanted to go from improver level to Intermediate.
