Wow John, you would really consider doing 3 salsa classes in one night, well to be honest I would too (hard-core)

I am an advanced dancer too and while it will be interesting to do beginners/intermediate classes, I find it more useful to dance socially with people of this level to improve my all-round salsa.
But if you are looking to become a teacher, my friends tell me that doing beginners/intermediate classes is good way to pick-up tips and ideas for classes. So if you are heading down the teacher root perhaps the prices should not matter (!?).

I have in the past and even to this day been in advanced classes with students who are not at that level either, and it does slow the progress of the class.

I am looking forward to seeing more advanced salsa classes in Cardiff; it will help to improve the overall standard of dancing her.

John, reading carefully your original request it would appear you are not an advanced dancer and were just asking for an Intermediate level class. With this in mind I can see you problem with the pricing.

Sha/Irene: I think you have created a gap for your Improver dancers who want to progress. This gap is both financial and psychological. What/How are your long running improver level students going to make the jump to Int/Adv? Just having the words Advanced is hard enough, and then if they can get over that, they will have to pay for it too £££

Perhaps it might be better to say £5 for one class or and two for £6.

Good luck people. I think we talk too much, more dancing please.

Hi John
Thank you for bringing this up, didn’t expect people to do all 3 classes, if the adv dancers would also like to do beg and imp then that s great, we’ll definitely have to review the price.
Hope to see you there

I can’t believe this - you give the people what they ask for and STILL they complain, surely it’s simple?
If you are a beginner/ improver you can dance both lessons for only £6; If you are more than improved and would be interested in completing a 4 week course on a specific dance style, then the total charge for this course is £20.00 - this should not be considered an add-on to the usual lesson, but a seperate oppourtunity to learn something that is of interest and which you may enjoy! Irene/Shahid - I love your classes and whilst I’m not quite ready to sign up for a short course, appreciate exactly what you are trying to achieve.
I wish you both every success
