Hi everyone,

My next charity salsa party will be held Friday 31st October from 7.30pm in County Hall Staff Sports and Social Club, Cardiff Bay (usual venue for those that have been before). Due to the date it will be Halloween themed, fancy dress optional (although I will be picking on you if you don’t dress up!) with a prize for best fancy dress. There will also be a raffle and buffet. Tickets £5 in advance or £6.50 on the door.

This time we are supporting the MESIG group, who provides support and information for ME sufferers in the cardiff area. They are currently raising money to provide a telephone councelling service.

Get your tickets early guys, to avoid disappointment as per last weeks event, which sold out a week and half before (190 tickets!) so we had to turn people away on the night due to capacity restrictions!

For those of you that attended the last event to support “Jukebox”, the kids Hip Hop group, I’m sure you’ll be please to know that the money raised helped to send them to Vegas where they came second in the World Champs! So definitely money well deserved.

I haven’t decided what to teach on the night, so why not lets all take a vote! We could have beginners, improvers or intermediate level, LA, Cuban, Rueda, styling, shines etc. So let me know, and the most popular wins! Don’t forget you can always email me on katycubana@hotmail.com

Thanks to everyone who came on Friday night and supported the charity salsa party in Cardiff Bay, especially those who dressed up and made it all the more entertaining. I hope you all had as much fun as me.

We managed to raise our most so far, so thanks to all of you for the extra pounds for the raffle. We raised £172.80 for the MESIG group, who provides support and information for ME sufferers in the cardiff area. This money will help to provide a telephone councelling service.

Next party will be early in the new year, to warm you all up for the Wales Salsathon 2009!!!

I picked up some large silver hoop earings at the party, if anyone has lost them let me know by next week otherwise I will be destroying them.
