Asere play contemporary Cuban son, which combines Spanish guitar with African rhythms. Tickets are £16 but can be purchased at £12.50 from St David’s Hall box office (tel. 029 2087 8444) quoting Cardiff Salsa Web Offer |

Message 4 · 19 Sep 2008 17:56 GMT Get Real - there is no dancing in St.David’s Hall - it is a concert hall and not a dance hall!! - or local bar!! |

Message 5 · 19 Sep 2008 18:11 GMT Wow! This is getting like a real message board! Anyway, You, you are wrong. The stage at St David’s Hall can be lowered (in sections). So when they have a smallish group playing, and need dancing space, part of the stage is lowered to floor level, and thus forms the dancefloor. |

Message 6 · 19 Sep 2008 18:18 GMT And unlike the Millennium Centre you have that flexibility - I didn’t go to the Buena Vista stars night at WMC because it was made clear that there would be NO DANCING. Now I just need to brush up on dancing son (no, it’s not the same as salsa). |
