Hi Everyone,

We are running a “Style” Class for 4 weeks starting this coming Tuesday (27th May) at Koko Gorilaz. The class will introduce four different cuban dances: Cuban Rumba, Cuban Cha Cha Cha, Son and Cuban Mambo, focusing on how the patterns of these cuban dances are mixed into modern Cuban Salsa. Learning about these different dances will help with Cuban Salsa body movement and styling.

This class will benefit any level of dancer - beginner/ improver/ advanced.

Just to add that our Beginners and Improvers Salsa Classes will continue as normal... so our timetable for the next four weeks is:

7.30pm Beginners Salsa
8.30pm Improvers Salsa
10pm NEW STYLE CLASS - Cuban Rumba/Cha Cha Cha/Son/Mambo
9.30-10 and 11-12 Freestyle Dancing

Our “Style” Class @ Koko’s continues this week with a Son class. (Son is the traditional cuban dance out of which Salsa developed.)

So our timetable for this Tuesday is:

7.30pm: Beginners Salsa
8.30pm: Improvers Salsa
10pm: Son (for any level of dancer - beginner/ improver/ advanced)
9.30-10 and 11-12 Freestyle Dancing

We have decided to run one final 10pm “Style” Class @ Koko Gorilaz - this will cover a mix of Cuban Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Son and Mambo, and how to incorporate these into salsa. Learning about these different dances will help with Cuban Salsa body movement and styling. The class is for any level of dancer - Beginner/ Improver/ Advanced.

So our timetable for this Tuesday (24th June) is:

7.30pm: Beginners Salsa
8.30pm: Improvers Salsa
10pm: Cuban Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Son & Mambo with Salsa
9.30-10 and 11-12 Freestyle Dancing

Hi everyone,

Our Tuesday 10pm class @ Koko Gorilaz is now switching back to teaching Cuban Rueda. So our classes are as follows:

Beginners Salsa 7.30pm
Improvers Salsa 8.30pm
Cuban Rueda Class 10pm
Dancing 9.30pm-10pm & 11pm-12am

Our classes are now being taught by Cuban Instructor Misael and also by myself...
