It would be great if we could get LA 33 to come to Cardiff or one the nearby towns in South Wales.
We don’t get many live Salsa bands coming to perform in Wales, although Salsa Celtica did come to Barry and Pontypridd last week and Buena Vista Social Club came to St David’s Hall in Cardiff the week before.
It’s just question of making arrangements with a suitable venue that has a large enough stage to accommodate a 12 piece band and there being sufficient space in front of the stage to use as a dance floor. Many of the larger venues such as St David’s Hall and the Wales Millennium Centre will probably be fully booked with other events for the period that LA 33 are over in the UK.
It may better to hire a smaller venue with a suitable layout as they are more likely to have odd night slots available in their timetable.
