Dear All

Sorry to be so formal, but after having spoken with Hugh this seems to be the quickest means to inform everyone of my project.

I contact you from the Western Mail and South Wales Echo LTD. ( Media Wales) in Cardiff.

Having spoken to a number of our customers and considered their opinions we are in the process of collating information and advice with a view to launching a weekly spread dedicated to Dance.

This is planned to appear every Saturday in the South Wales Echo (59.600 circulation/ 172,000 readership).

This feature pages will contain editorial (each advertiser will be given the option to provide 200 words and a picture), customer promotions, reader competition offers (free dance lessons etc.) and we also plan to include interviews with celebrities (we already have offers for this).

I also intend to segregate an area into which we can insert lineage advertising to ensure that there is an option to meet everyone’s budget.

I am awaiting a visual of the layout which I will forward as soon as possible.

I am contacting various companies to seek more advice in regards to cost, editorial content, layout etc. The feedback so far is extremely positive.

I would appreciate speaking with you to discuss the plans we have already and any ideas or suggestions you would like to provide.

I wiould obviously like to contact as many members of your organisation as possible, could you advise as to the best way to achieve this?

We are not looking to book any advertising at this stage so please do not expect a sales pitch, your professional input is of more value to me at this moment in time.

If you could give me a call I would appreciate it.
