‘La Reina’ is organising a trip next year to the Dominican Republic.
This is not a ‘dance’ holiday! This is a trip for a limited number of people who want to improve or establish their Bachata and Merengue dance skills and at the same time sample the ‘real’ Dominican Republic with an experienced guide. And yet still have a holiday full of beaches, sight seeing, dancing, drinking and quite frankly a bit or a lot of whatever you fancy…it is entirely up to you. There are no rules, just honest guidelines.
I know many people who go away on ‘dance holidays’ and just end up dancing with the same people in very touristy areas and never actually see the country they are visiting. This trip is going to be different! However there will of course be loads of dancing, and yes this will include some Salsa.
I am inviting a maximum of 20 people to join me on a trip to The Dominican Republic, to dance and immerse them into the Dominican culture and to show them the country I love. You will get to visit places that a tourist would generally never see.
It is all about forgetting who you are, where you come from and living in the moment. Because after all “Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well Bachata!”
