My oh my... have the Universities Talybont Social Centre set up a great salsa deal for you students...

Monday 8th October, Salsa launch night at the Talybont. FREE one hour beginners salsa class with Shahid ( http://salsa.yellowpie.com/shahid.php ) and Mary, followed by an hour or so of salsa music and dancing, prizes and drinks promotion.

Then for the next 5 weeks after that every Monday we have a 5 week salsa course that you can sign up to, starting from absolute beginners and progressing and reviewing each week, to get you all to a decent standard of salsa dancing by the end of the course. Cost of the entire 5 week course is £5! That’s a pound a week for an hours class!! No partner required, and the class will always be followed by an hour or so of salsa music and dancing so you can have a drink and practice what you have learnt, as well as myself and Mary being on hand to dance with you and help out. :-)

The salsa dancing after the class is free and open to all students you don’t have to have attended the class, and you are free to come and watch, drink at the bar and just enjoy the atmosphere if you so wish!

Awesome night on Monday, well done!... great atmosphere and so much enthusiasm! We had 50 students for the class and dancing and we currently have over 60 people and still growing, booked and paid for the 5 week course...

Have had a few enquiries about this, just to make it clear you do not need to have attended the free class on the launch night last Monday to do the 5 week course. The 5 week beginner course starts proper and from scratch this Monday the 15th of October. Pop into the Talybont and book your place, just 5 quid for the entire course. :-)
