... actually, that’s the weekend of the salsa congress and Andy’s organising a trip there, so I would definitely check with him.

Yes Q Bar is open on the Sunday, Kate James will be taking the class in my absence.

Last night was “interesting” with a bit of a clash between Salsa downstairs and a fairly large party upstairs. I would have thought the venue would have an obligation not to put on conflicting events at the same time - and it meant there was no free dancing after as tehy ramped up the music from upstairs. Still Andy coped well with the noise and it was a good routine. However I think he said something about it not being in Q Bar next Sunday and that an alternative venue was being sought - I didn’t really hear, can anyone confirm?

I’m coming to cardiff this weekend!!! How many people does q bar attract and is it def on on sun night?

There’s usually about 20-30 in each class (the Beginners has got quite busy now) with a bit of drop off throughout the evening as it moves from Beginners to Improvers to Intermedeate. But then a lot of people just come along at 8 for the start of the Improvers class and skip Beginners (me included). However, as I said above, I’m fairly sure Andy said it would be in a different venue next week, although I’m not completely sure and waiting for confirmation.

Unfortunately due to the cavalier attitude of certain members of the management at Q Bar it has become untenable to continue the night there. I would like to thank everyone that perservered with us, especially the last Sunday...
In the mean time we are looking at finding another venue as quickly as possible. We will let you know as soon as we do.
