Hey peeps,

How is everyone? I would like some feedback if poss please...

Now as many people know Bachata is my favourite dance and I know a lot of you enjoy dancing it too and others would like to learn it.

I’m thinking of organising a day (workshop style) of Bachata giving everyone the opportunity to learn the dance... but the ‘proper’ way.

By this I mean traditional dominican bachata (which is where it comes from) and not salsa moves taught to bachata music. It would also be an opportunity to learn the history of the dance and just gain a general understanding and feeling of the dance. Bachata is very sensual and when the history of it is known, it has a whole new perspective.

The workshop would be run by a guest taecher who is a professional dancer and knows everything there is to know about Bachata so it would be great value for money.

Anyway, I just want to know if people would be interested?? So any feedback would be welcome :)

Thanks

Hi Lisa

Count me in - I love bachata. It would be good to have it taught regularly as well, rather than just one-off workshops.

Count me in too Lisa, and I’m sure I’ll be able to persuade a few other friends too. I’ll be looking forward to it!

Fantastic! Well I shall go ahead and book a date... it will most likely be on a Sunday.

Also, the lady who will be teaching likes even numbers so there aren’t more women than men so it will be advanced bookings too.

I really hope lots of people give it a go. If nothing else it will be good fun! :)

I’ll keep you all posted on dates
