Just a quick reminder about the La Rueda Course starting next week...
There are still a few spaces available, so if you’re interested in taking part, please contact me.

February: 7, 14, 21, 28
March: 7

7.30-8.30pm: Improvers 1
8.30-9.30pm: Beginners

The La Rueda course is now FULL for ladies, so I will be taken no more bookings from ladies. However there are a few male spaces left in both the beginners and improvers levels, so please let me know ASAP if you are attending.

This is my last ditch attemp for more men - I’ve had to turn away 5 very disappointed ladies in the past 2 days as they wouldn’t have a partner :(

I didn’t think we would need a partner - re your message of 31st january - stating qute clearly - no partner required - I was obviously mis-informed

Kate meant you don’t need to bring your own partner. But she still has to work to get the numbers more-or-less equal.

Thanks Hugh, yes that is exactly it.
Most dancers don’t have a regular partner, therefore it I keep it open to everyone. As with most classes though, there is usually a shortfall of men unfortunatelty, so I keep a reserved list of women if there are too many. On this occasion, I have had a lot of demand from women who have not done La Rueda before, but I do not want to allow them to pay for 5 weeks in advance if there are not sufficient number of men to dance with them and they spend the majority of the class standing around waiting.
As Hugh said, I try to keep the class as equal as possible, so unfortunately some times I have to turn people away.
