Message 1 · 21 Jun 2006 11:26 GMT Does anyone go to Que Pasa (for the free dancing) now that Bar Risa’s open? I’m asking because I can’t get to Risa tomorrow night. |

Message 2 · 21 Jun 2006 12:11 GMT Hi Tom, I go to Tammi’s class at Que Pasa, but numbers have been a bit thin on the ground in recent weeks. There isn’t always an opportunity to dance afterwards as some partners usually leave after the class, although some guys have danced with Tammi after the classes. |

Message 3 · 21 Jun 2006 16:00 GMT Hey evenyone, Class isn’t on tonight due to the Take That concert and the amount of people due to come in. Sorry for the short notice but I’ve only just found out myself. The last two weeks, the numbers have dropped a little. I guess people are enjoying the sun :-) We are however trying to build the venue back up so everyones support is appreciated. Thanks Tammi |

Message 4 · 19 Jul 2006 19:45 GMT Hi, My name is Jamie and I am the manager of Que Pasa Cardiff. Last week I had a chat with Tammi and I was so pleased to hear how eager she is to get her class numbers up and running. It is the first time I have ever had the chance to become involved with a salsa night, as previously I just moved the furniture and poured the drinks. Now that Tammi and I are working together to grow the profile of Wednesday nights, I’m sure it can be a big sucsess. My team and I are looking forward to welcoming new people to Que Pasa, and we look forward to hearing your feedback personally. |

Message 5 · 20 Jul 2006 16:57 GMT Hi Jamie, Yes, it’s a shame numbers have dropped recently for Tammi’s class. I think there seems to be some confusion as to when the classes are supposed to start which doesn’t help. This website says: 7.30pm - 8.30pm Beginners £2 8.30pm - 10.00pm Improvers 8.30pm - 10.00pm Intermediate £4 I think these times relate to when the classes used to be held on a Thursday. The posters in your venue say 8:30 - 10:00. But Tammi has actually been structuring the classes as follows: 8.00pm - 9.00pm Beginners 9.00pm - 10.00pm Improvers / Intermediate £4 for everything It might be best if the guys in admin on this site check that this is correct by e-mailing both Andy and Tammi first, before updating the main page on the website. |

Message 6 · 26 Jul 2006 18:23 GMT Hello Dai I’m talking to Tammi today, she is planning a relaunch, with a fantastic demo’ this Saturday night where Tammi puts her talents on show and hopefully drums up interest from some fresh dancers. First thing we will address is the lack of consistancy in the offer as it stands. As soon as the format is firmed up, we will be sure to get the info out. In the mean time, 7:30 on a Wednesday will see Tammi and our team standing by to welcome all. Look forward to seeing you there. |

Message 7 · 26 Jul 2006 19:30 GMT Hey guys, There will be no class until aug 9, As jamie said we are trying to drum up some new faces, by means of publicity etc. Format will be: 7.30 - 8.30 beginners 8.30 - 9.30 improvers 9.30 onwards socail dancing. We are trying to create an atmosphere that puts people at ease and makes it fun to learn, so aiming at nice people who want to learn and make new friends, and hopfully inject a new lease of life into salsa in cardiff. By working with que pasa we are going to try and do a nightly raffle and maybe a prize for most improved once a month. I am open to suggestions as I want the class to be enjoyed by all, and I am learning along the way :-). Look forward to seeing you there Tammi |

Message 8 · 28 Jul 2006 20:18 GMT Hello, Myself and my partner are looking to start the salsa class for beginners. Do we need to book a place or just rock up? He is a bit concerned because of the thought of changing partner (embarrassed about his 2 left feet) so could you just re-assure him that the classes are fairly light hearted and that he will be fine. Looking forward to the 9th August. Jo |

Message 9 · 29 Jul 2006 09:18 GMT Hi jo You don’t have to book, you just turn up. Don’t worry, everyone feels this way before coming to class but everybody is friendly and class is fun. Nobody will look at you, which seems to be the biggest concern, as they’re too busy looking at their own feet ;-). Look forward to seeing you there Tammi X |
