Just popped into Cuba on Saturday. The wooden part of the floor has been refitted with nice smooth boards and the hole in the tiled area of the floor has been repaired.

Thanks Dai. Can you give us some more details. Is there much change to the layout? Is the dancing area any bigger than it was?

No the layout is more or less the same as before. Chatting briefly to Andy last night he said that there was talk of the layout being altered, but all that appears have been done for now is that floor has been sorted.

Because there was a certain footy match on last night, Cuba was uncharacteristically a lot less chaotic than usual.

The wooden floor and the original tiled area both seemed a bit sticky to spin on last night. It appears as though both areas of the floor have been coated with a new lacquer finish. The Wharf was also a bit sticky just after it‘s floor had been varnished a few weeks back but it now seems okay.

The other noticeable thing during the class was the better lighting which is enhanced by the new mirrors at the front.
