I’m afraid I won’t be at Risa on the 20th but will no doubt meet you soon.

I’m not sure if I’ll be going to Risa yet, as it is on Thursdays and it clashes with my sporting activities. But I may go on now and again, possibly starting next week just to see how it compares to other venues.

I’ll try to remember to let you know for definite next week.

Sorry I won’t be able to go to Risa for a few weeks, which is a shame as I would definitely have liked to have been able to go either this week or next.

I am however going to Cuba tonight and may give Que Pasa a go on Wednesday.

I’m gutted about not being able to make Risa next week, as I think Andy has organised some guest professional dancers to demonstrate the Bachata. But you best check this date by contacting him via e-mail as I can’t remember which website I saw this advertised. We had a taster of the Bachata last week at Cuba, it is a dance from the Dominican Republic and it was great fun giving it a go.

Maybe meet up with you soon in the coming weeks. Meanwhile happy dancing!

Did you manage to go to Risa last night, if so how did you get on?

Although I couldn’t make the classes last night, I did just drop in briefly later on to check out the venue. Must say, I found it a bit intimidating myself, mainly because it’s so much bigger than the other venues. However, I’m going to try and come on a monthly basis when Andy is hopefully going to be organising a Rueda which is a group dance in circular formation.

We did the Rueda on Wednesday night at Que Pasa and it was great fun. Read my thread ‘Had a great time group dancing at Que Pasa last night’.

Hi Dai - no I didn’t manage it. I think I must’ve started dancing at the wrong time. Since that 1st nite I haven’t made it anywhere. Got big stuff on in work at the mo which means worker longer hrs & not having the energy to go out during the week. On top of that I’ve got throat infection so feeling yuk. Off to Mexico in 2 weeks so maybe I’ll get a chance there - even if it is poolside!!
