Message 1 · 1 Mar 2006 00:04 GMT I’m trying to find some comfortable high heeled salsa shoes. Happy to pay more for soft cushioning etc if it means I can dance for longer. Seems to be lots on the internet that I can buy at the touch of a button, but I would like to, er, try them on first. Are there any shops out there (Milton Keynes/Northampton/Bedford/London) where I can sit down and be presented with a teetering tower of shoeboxes for me to explore? Actually I like the smell of new shoes too, but that’s probably for a different chatroom. |

Message 3 · 1 Mar 2006 10:37 GMT Best place I’ve seen is actually salsa congresses or weekenders. There’s usually at least a couple of stalls with whole arrays of dance shoes you can try on and buy (or probably order I think). Other than that take a look at: http://www.londonsalsa.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=48 Or http://www.londonsalsa.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=15.0 There’s a couple of different places mentioned near to London. Message 4 · 1 Mar 2006 16:02 GMT http://www.studiodancewear.co.uk. Go to Jazz and select sneakers. Check this site out for prices, different types available etc. Before going down to London. I got a pair of TS1s from them and they were superb! |

Message 8 · 21 Mar 2006 10:43 GMT Try www.heavenlydanceshoes.com I get all my shoes there and theyre all lush! U get them custom made as you want... they come in half sizes, various height and width heel, closed/open toe front (again in various lengths), various style of strap, and best of all evry fabric and colour under the sun! U can even opt for a diamonte buckle :) I’ve paid between £50-£60 for each pair. Very good value as theyre cushioned inside but have a leather sole suitable for dancing in clubs. They’re also very durable. |
