Message 3 · 12 Jan 2006 20:21 GMT Hello Saz and People, Yeah I did end up going, just for a little bit, I was one of the very few people there. I was talking to Mikey P, the D.J. And he told me that January was a bad month to launch it, and that they are going to Make a big entry of it in Feb, by possibly bringing in a well known Dancer/Teacher from London or Something. Its a shame not many people showed up, The bar is really nice, with a good enough dance floor space. Mikey or Manuel, how much are the prices of the drinks? Thanx Paul |

Message 4 · 17 Jan 2006 17:23 GMT Hey guys, anyone going for salsa tonight (Tues)? I went last week and social dancing was dead - hardly any dancers in Cuba and no one in the Great Western. Any recommendations? X |

Message 5 · 17 Jan 2006 20:33 GMT I would be tempted to go to Cuba if I knew anyone else going, but after 10 is a bit too late to find out that there’s nobody to dance with. Also ‘Buena Vista Social Club’ is on More4 at 9, which is a good reason to stay in if you’ve got digital telly. |

Message 6 · 18 Jan 2006 13:07 GMT Hey guys, U should have come to Cuba!! It was a great night and really really busy, good atmosphere too except for the fight that broke out during the lesson, not by anyone taking part I might add! Tom, it’s a given that I am there every Tueday and I would always dance with u! Saying that, I’m off to Cambridge now so won’t be about for a while but will let u know when I’m back. No doubt see u all at The Toad tomorrow! |

Message 7 · 18 Jan 2006 19:39 GMT Hi Folks, On the Cuba front, it is now a Latin only night, and I’m the DJ so the music will be similar to the music played on a Saturday night at La Tasca - Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reaggaton and Latin pop. We are currently putting the advertising together. So it should start getting busier after the classes. As a note the classes there are pretty busy at the moment, they finish at 10:30pm so if the more advanced dancers amongst you would like to come down there’s a lot of eager/nervous people to dance with.
