Message 1 · 21 Sep 2005 22:48 GMT Heyo, I wanted to post another class review, this time of La Tasca on a Wednesday evening in Cardiff. That’s where I was tonight, and I really like it. It’s very different from other classes I have been to and in a good way! The class is kind of an all-levels class, because you cover basic steps, proper technique and some fancy moves. I guess its a great one for beginners but I like it too because I actually feel like I have practiced everything, rather than just learning a few new moves each week that I forget by next week. Reasons to go to La Tasca on Wednesday: • Tammi is a great dancer and teacher, and she is BEAUTIFUL • For guys it’s great because she shows you leads, for girls it’s great because she shows you how to follow: she is amidancerous (that’s a new word I invented for it) • It’s hot in La Tasca which introduces you to dancing in a hot place, which is good experience if you want to try crowded dance floors or foreign countries • People are sometimes watching you while they eat - but this is a positive because it gets you used to dancing with an audience • The location is very Spanish as you would expect, and this does give a good atmosphere • It’s only £3 for 2 hours • It’s a kind of small and cosy friendly class. |

Message 3 · 23 Feb 2006 17:04 GMT Hi, Just wondering how long the beginners lessons lasted in La Tasca? I’m relatively new to all this, have been going to Bar Cuba on Tuesdays for a while, but it’s getting a bit crowded! And do many people go to La Tasca lessons on Wednesdays, or is it a bit less packed? Thanks Sophie |

Message 4 · 23 Feb 2006 23:31 GMT Hey there Sophie, La Tasca is my class and the beginners class lasts for about an hour. The class is less in numbers than Cuba as the venue is smaller. Beginners class starts at eight and numbers are varied as most places but it’s always a good atmosphere ;-) hope to see you there!! Thanks Tammi |

Message 7 · 20 Mar 2006 14:11 GMT Hi Tammi, I plan to be going to the class for the first time on the 12th April. Is that going to be on or is it the week after that it starts up again? And if so is it necessary to book first or just turn up on the night? Thanks |

Message 8 · 20 Mar 2006 14:19 GMT I’m pretty sure Tammi means it starts again on 12 April. You don’t need to book, just turn up. |
