Actually the best thing you can do is call somewhere like bar salsa in charring cross road and they will have a huge list of DJ’s that they use and the girls who work there are my mates ask them if they have anyone. Helana or carolina, they are really nice and I’m sure will try and help you.
these guys may already have work as its Sunday and most DJ’s I know have a good Sun slot as Sun is manic here for dancing salsa. What type of salsa music are ou into?? Do you want the English salsa that your non salsa guests will relate to? Cuban cross body a mix with R and B or something. The easy thing about being a salsa DJ is you don’t have to mix the tracks and so as long as you have a great selection of music and an eye for what the crowd likes its not that hard most people can learn how to use the equiptment quite quickly. I have rehearsals on Sunday else I’d volenteur but if you don’t find anyone and you need music I can send you some CD’s as a wedding present. Something that you can just let play, its not ideal but as a last resort its there as an offer.
