Is there a Latinamerican community in Wales?

I left this message for a while to see if there would be any response, but no luck. I don't think there are many Latinamerican people in Wales but Spanish-speaking salsa dancers in Cardiff seem to gravitate towards Callaghan's on a Tuesday.

Finally I found somebody looking for a south american too. I am Jelenyela, a venezuelan woman that recently moved to Cardiff and is looking to make friends that Speak Spanish!!!

I hope you make some Spanish speaking friends. As I mentioned above, Callaghan's is probably a good place to try.

Hola Jelenyela. Hay mucha gente de hablar Español en Cardiff. Como Hugh ha dicho, Callaghan's es probablemente el lugar mejor para encontrarlos. Hay otros que van al Toad el Jueves (mas tarde) tambien. La mayoria de la gente de hablar Español en Cardiff son Españoles, pero yo se que hay gente de America Latina aqui tambien.

I had a feeling this would happen. So I'm now stating explicitly that the language of this board is English, to enable the greatest number of people to understand and participate in the discussions. Please don't post in Spanish or other non-English languages.

Check out www.alas.org.uk. It's based in Swansea but its a really nice organisation and the people are so friendly. Lots of South Americans. I know people from Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia etc who attend.
