Hi Everyone,

There will be NO SALSA in Las Havanas this Thursday and for the rest of December - Las Havanas are unable to offer us the room as they are fully booked every Thursday with Christmas parties.

Thursday Salsa will re-start on Thursday 7th January 2010!

Hey All...

Ok folks here are the Salsa Buena Xmas/New Year Dates :

Wednesdays at Terra Nova :

We were hoping to do another week there next week (16th Dec), but due to a Xmas booking there our class and dance nights have now finished at Terra Nova for the Xmas/New Year Break. We will be resuming back at Terra Nova on Wednesday 6th January 2010.

Tuesdays at Las Havanas :

Due to a Xmas booking (why can’t people book there Xmas parties on non salsa nights!! Lol ;-)), Tuesday 15th December will run as normal but will be upstairs at Park Conservative Club, City Road, Roath, CF24 3JD. Classes on there superb wooden dance floor and stage. Times and prices as normal followed by dancing till 11pm.

22nd December is the Xmas Party at Las Havanas (buffet, xmas party games, line ups and dancing till late). Full details of Xmas Party on the forum http://www.salsacity.com/forum/forum6-topic2280 or on our website www.salsabuena.co.uk. (It’s gonna be another packed one!).

Regular weekly classes and dancing will resume at Las Havanas on Tuesday 5th January 2010.

Ooo and watch this space for at least one brand new night with Salsa Buena starting in January... another top notch (and award winning!) venue that wanted us based on our huge success and great reputation. Details coming soon! :-).

Hi Welsh Wizard, can you tell me is the Park Consrvative Club the new name for the New Park Liberal Club? Thanks

Park Conservative Club is about 150yards up from New Park Liberal Club towards Albany Road but on the same side of the street

New Park Liberal Club is in the middle of City Road. The Park Conservative Club where we will be this Tuesday 15th December is a little bit further down right towards the end of City Road (the Albany Road/Richmond Road end). Next door to the cafe Milgi. A lovely building with a big sign on the front saying ‘Park Club’. We are upstairs in there with a beautiful wooden dance floor and stage (and an exceptionally cheap bar!). Thanks for pointing that out, I imagine a few people get those venue names mixed up.

Hi Everyone...

Unfortunately I have been unable to find us a venue for tonight (Tuesday)... so there will be no Salsa from Salsa A Lo Cubano this week :(

I have half-secured a venue in Cardiff centre for next Tuesday (22nd December) - so let me know if you would be interested in me organising a Salsa class night so close to Christmas...
