Could I also request that in the links section our website address is updated to http://www.salsa-mania.co.uk as we are no longer using eldj.co.uk!!

The latter was used in the period where I was not promoting Salsa!

However, I have since been persuaded to start back promoting Salsa and needed to get myself an apprpriate website!! It is the one above...

As someone who got caught out with the previous listings it is good to see them put right (almoast!)! Still couple of things not right or very clear. :

Monday at Fairwater Club is £5 for one class and £7 (!) for two classes. Not sure they have anything there at 9.30pm now or if the social dancing still happens afterwards,

Tuesday at Live Lounge I suppose you mean 11pm not 11am!! (We don’t mind if it does go till 11am!). Go on!! :-).

Also you mention dancing till late on some of the listings and give the exact finish times on other listings. ‘Dancing till late’ can mean anything. I went to one night outside of Cardiff once billed as ‘dancing till late’ and the cut off time was 10pm!! Bit of a loose interpretaion there! Please can you put on the listings the proper finish times!

I’d love to be able to put the true closing time of events on the listings, but it’s a detail that promoters can be irritatingly coy about. Promoters: please be frank about the closing times of your events. It’s an important detail that prospective customers really want to know. Even if you say something like: dancing till 11pm or midnight depending on how many people are left -- that would be really useful.

Salsa A Lo Cubano’s closing times are as listed - at Barocco on Tuesdays we finish the Freestyle at 11.30pm and at Las Havanas on Thursdays we finish at Midnight...

Hi Hugh,

Thanks for the updates. Could you please put the Salsa Buena end times for Tuesday at Las Havanas and Wednesday at Terra Nova as Midnight. These are the official closing times, Terra Nova quite strict on it. Las Havanas are more flexible, we often go past midnight, think the latest we have been there and packed the place out until has been 1am!

Also on the side of our listings you have included our beginners dance hour which is fab. If you could add in ‘with helper’ (for Tues and Wed) that would be great. We have a superb team of volunteers that help out the beginners during the beginners dance hour. Daren, Ralph and Paul please take a bow!!! :-).

P.s. Sorry to be a pain but if you could mention the dancing is free and open to all on Tues and Wed that would be marvellous.

Sorry to be an utter pain... but if you can fit it in... the last Tuesday of the month at Las H and the last Wednesday of the month at Terra Nova the improver/intermediate class is an all levels Bachata class open to all student levels of salsa from beginners upwards. Beginners salsa class remains as normal.
