I wouldn’t take it personally eldj. You aren’t the only having problems getting thru to Hugh... I think you will find there are a few people with updates going back months and months that have not been addressed despite numerous emails.
It does seem he may well have given up the ghost. The front page listings are also very much out of date (not for all, but for more than a few of the listings). It’s a shame as this site is pretty much a lot of peoples first port of call when checking out what’s happening on the salsa scene, and it does not look good when most of the information is out of date or needs correcting.
Up till now Hugh has been doing an absolutely sterling job with this site. And it may be that with constant updates its taking up way too much of his time. Hugh if there is a problem please know we are all here to help and support you in any way possible to get this site back to the number one up to date listing site it once was. If you need any help or are having problems just let us know. We are here to help, least we can do for all the hard work you have put in the past keeping this site in order.
