Merengada (23 April) and Asere (14 May) at Fiddlers, Bristol. Merengada are 'the UK's only specialist merengue band' and were also responsible for the salsa version of 'No Woman No Cry' - so that's two reasons to stay in ; ) - but Asere should be good.

I'll be in Belfast for a conference, however - and was chuffed to discover that it overlaps with a salsa festival on the 15th/16th. bmibaby fly to Belfast from Cardiff, if anyone else is interested.

Thanks, Tom. I've added Asere to the events page.

I also noticed on the Fiddlers website that they have Carmello Son on Saturday, 12 June. This is an all-female salsa band, perhaps with members from Cuba, but there seems to be no information on them anywhere on the web.
