Message 11 · 5 Mar 2004 02:37 GMT Thanks, Paul. When you can give us the full details I will send a message to my mailing list. Two things we particularly need to know are: the time the classes finish and free-dancing starts and the closing time for the evening. |

Message 12 · 9 Mar 2004 10:32 GMT Paul, Great to know you have this venue for the evening. I know several people who are keen to come to this class but we would like to know how much free dancing time there'll be and what time it finishes. Looking forward to the evening. Thanks for organising this |

Message 13 · 10 Mar 2004 07:21 GMT I'm still working on this. In an ideal world This is how I'd like to run the evening. Doors open 6.30 Beginners 7pm Imp/Inter 7.45pm Advanced 8pm 8.45 Finish 11pm or later Buffet would be at about 9ish. THIS IS NOT CONFIRMED!!! This is simply what I'm asking David Lloyd for. It would, as always, be fantastic if more experienced dancers came early (the price won't be any different) to help out lesser experienced dancers. (See other things I've said about joining in and dance teachers liking you for it :-) I'll keep you all posted. Regards P G-S |

Message 14 · 11 Mar 2004 09:38 GMT Me again. Right - the official timing for the "salsa extravaganza" at David Lloyd is as follows... Doors open and beginners - 7pm - 7.30 Improvers - Intermediate - 7.30 - 8.15 Advanced (my stupid stuff) 8.15 - 9pm Freestyle - from 9pm till 11ish. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW Food, Day pass voucher, bar, free secure parking and yours truely making a "salsa teaching comback" - all for a fiver! What more fun could you possible have on a Saturday night with your clothes on? |

Message 15 · 11 Mar 2004 09:49 GMT Hi Paul Can you give some more information about the "day pass". Do you mean that people can turn up anytime on Saturday, buy a ticket for the salsa, and be able to use the facilities, eg, go for a swim, until the salsa starts? Or is the day pass voucher for another day? |

Message 16 · 11 Mar 2004 10:59 GMT Day pass will be for another day - but it will give you access to the swimming pools, tennis, squash, badminton courts, gym, sauna, jacuzzi and restaurant. I think it is for a "family" aswell so you can bring someone (or your family) but don't quote me on this. |

Message 18 · 12 Mar 2004 12:57 GMT Thanks Paul for the info, we will definately come along and bring as many friends as we can! Know we're pushing it but any chance of an extension on the free dancing time?? Some of our friends are dancers from 'The North' coming down for the weekend and we want to give them a good 'Welsh Dancing Time'. Looking forward to the evening. |

Message 19 · 12 Mar 2004 13:06 GMT Probabily not but saying that... British Licensing laws allow for twenty minutes drinking up time following closure of a bar. That means, by law, you are entitled to consume your pint till 11.20pm. Providing people don't take the P***, I am sure David Lloyd would turn a blind eye to music continuing for that period and possibly on till 11.30. I tried to enquire for a late license but no luck. I'd just play it by eye at the mo'. I'm sure it wont all stop at 11pm. |
