Why has this been cancelled? - what about Leon Rose and Edie - are they going to be cancelled as well?

No all other parties are still on, the leon rose party is half sold already. Sorry for inconvience this has cause.

Hi, your Tamika.com site is still advertising Marchant Birch for this Sat.
Could you give people a little more explaination about why it’s been cancelled. I have refused work to keep myself free for Marchant Birch this Sat. And will not get any work now at such short notice.

I can’t believe this - it is so late in the day to cancel - can we please have an explanation why this has been cancelled - as already queried by 2 people?? It is certainly not very encouraging for anybody to book anything in advance from now on - I certainly won’t be.

The decision to cancel this event was due to selling less than 10 tickets, out if all the dancers in cardiff and surrounding areas nobody reserved or inquired about tickets until after its was cancelled, no one rang to enquire and marchent is one of the most expensive teachers but one of the best and that’s why we wanted him for cardiff. And after the last event that I held which was also poorly attended and I also lost money on that.

- mr disgruntled were you one of the ‘10 if so then I’m sorry but if you didn’t book then your last comment is unfair and invalid... had people booked then or people showed interest then the event would still be on. I need 100 people just to cover the costs. With less than 10 would you take the chance??? Don’t complain if you didn’t even buy a ticket! Its very easy for people to be 'disgruntled’ when its not their money being lost.

Every event we have done people have phoned to put tickets on door for this event this didn’t happen!

The leon rose party is half sold already through my classes, so people can buy tickets and it will go on with or without the support from cardiff.

Hmmmmm, I guess it could be the clash with Alex Wilson playing in Bristol the same evening. Also we do not seem to get the pleasure of your company much these days in Bristol, I’ll give you a lift back to Cardiff whenever you want Tammi ;-)
Seriously though, if you get Marchant re-booked again let me know and come visit us in Bristol I will help you sell tickets and promote the event, a lot of people in Bristol did not even know he was coming to Cardiff. You do a great job Tammi in promoting teachers to come to the Cardiff area when most people would have to travel and pay alot more money if they had go to London to see the same teachers. Hopefully see you soon. X
