Ballroom!!!

But not really interested in doing fox trot - just the latin as in Samba, Rumba, jive etc...

Best places would be studios mate, instead of going to a club for it. Ballroom and Latin are alot more technical and precise than Salsa, which is more of a social dance.

Ballroom and Latin dancing is great, I teach both. My fiance and I have just come back from america teaching and dancing out there.

Don’t say no instantly to the likes of Fox Trot, Waltz, etc...
As these dances can really help the Latin side, they help with your control, posture, poise, etc... and def become and aquired taste :)

If it is something you are going to persue go and have private lessons, they are more expensive, but it is unbelievable how quick you can learn, when its one on one. And then go off and go to dance parties/events.

Try any local studios out and then start going more afield, as to be honest, I would go for a better know school, but!!! It doesnt mean you gona learn more or get better tought.

Try a few out, then keep going back to the place where you get more of a connection with the teacher and feel safe with. Then you will progress quicker with your different types of dancing.

Hope that helps for you.
