I’m in Swansea visiting family, and was hoping to do some social dancing while I’m here. Is there dancing after the classes at Monkey Bar? Any other dancing going on? Does anyone drive up to Cardiff for salsa dancing that I could get a ride with?

Hi,
Don’t forget prices go up before end of this month, so the earlier you book the more you’ll save.
This is a first for Wales, and we are really looking forward to it, having one of the worlds top instructors with us.
One of the biggest dance events and biggest names in salsa to hit south wales is coming on february. So if you ever wanted to learn, then you may never get the chance to be taught again by someone who is world reknown.
We’ve been told that if Elvis were still alive, it is like booking him for St., Davids Hall.
World reknown, Edi the Salsa Freak, hits Llantwit Fardre Sports Club, through Flamin’ Heels Salsa, between the 8th - 10th February 2008, to do one of her Bootcamps. These bootcamps sell out worldwide, way in advance.
For two full days we have Edie, The Salsa FREAK and her World Famous Boot Camp! Fantastic Evening Parties to practice what you have learned!! A great way to Learn and HAVE FUN! Edie, The Salsa FREAK is one of the most sought after instructor / performers in the world.
She has traveled to over 50 countries teaching the world to dance, and has been the first American to teach in 18 of those countries. She is currently on world tour, taking the world by storm with her powerful dance style, precision, and amazing speed.
Her World Famous Salsa Bootcamps are held on weekends all over the world for those who want to learn and Stylize their Salsa in just ONE DAY. www.salsafreak.com

Hi Ben,

The classes at the Monkey Bar are on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 with social dancing till late. This is currently the main night in Swansea and is a regular night.

As far as know there have been just two occasions since last November when it hasn’t been on. The most recent time was about a month ago when the venue was closed for refurbishment.

I was there last week though and had a good time, and although the refurbishment work is not yet complete I believe that the classes will be running as normal from now on.

There are also classes at Que Pasa also on Tuesday night from about 8:00. Again as far as I know this is also a regular night, but it’s a bit of a shame that it clashes with the classes at the Monkey Bar as it would otherwise mean you could go to two regular classes in Swansea.

Hope this helps, have fun!

Hei there salseros!
Am coming to my hometown Swansea for a holiday in two weeks... I currently live in Oslo Norway... can anyone give me an update on where I can go dancing in swansea in August... also some info on courses would be good. Is there anyone who could give me intensive two week private tuition... what would this eventually cost... cheers
