Gorka won’t be running classes for a while - he’s decided to give teaching a break for at least a few months to concentrate on his real work.

Well he will be missed!

Good luck to him with what ever he is doing.

Does anyone know how I can getd hold of him?

Thanks

Carl

Hi just wondered... do you know of any classes... like monkey or que pasa that are light hearted and friendly that would welcome like a one off group of beginners... to their class... potentially if they enjoy some might continue every week?... anything in Oct Nov? I’ve heard that you can have a lesson for first hour or so and then stay and dance socially in that style for the rest of the night??? Is this correct can anyone recommend a friendly place please.

Most salsa classes operate on this basis. I haven’t been to Que Pasa but I found Monkey friendly the one time I went there. (The reason I’ve only been once is because I live in Cardiff.)

Hi Taffy

All Salsa classes and nights are friendly, that is the whole point of the night, for everyone to enjoy and get to know each other while dancing and learning.

Please come and visit us in Que Pasa, Wnd Street, Swansea on 2nd Oct (Tue)

It is our first night there, and we welcome anyone whole is looking to have a fun time and wants to learn about Salsa.

We shall be starting a beginners class at 8pm

Then an intermediate class at 9pm

Each class is £3

After the classes, there will be general dancing till 11pm, which is free.

Myself (Carl) and my wife (Alex) will be dancing with everyone through the night, so you can get a bit of a feeling of how to dance salsa.

So we hope to see you there.

Carl & Alex

Hi,

I use to go to Gorka’s class on a Friday night at Mambo’s before I moved away. I’m coming home this weekend and was really looking forward to going back there. I’m absolutely gutted to hear it has been stopped. Has any one got any info on the salsa night in La Tasca this Friday? Is it any good?

Thanks

Catherine

Do you mean La Tasca in Swansea, if so there are no classes going on there as far as I am awear.
They are having a Live spanish guitar there tho on Thursdays which may be interesting.

There are class going on with myself and my wif Alex in Que Pasa, every Tuesday from 7:45 till 11:00, only £3 for the night, and you can have 2 lessons in that!!!

But if you are looking for Gorka’s lessons. I think he is teaching in the YMCA on a Tuesday night in swansea, I don’t know what times tho sorry, maybe someone else on here will know.

Hope that helps
