Is there nowhere to learn/dance Salsa in Cardiff on a Wednesday night?

I teach at Tiger Tiger - Beginners & Improvers from 8.15pm

Not quite sure why, but just noticed Tammi, your classes have been taken off the front page of this website, hence Jeff’s query.

The front page is for “nights-out”. Classes followed by at least 90 minutes of free dancing. Events that are “just classes” can be promoted on the forum.

Are there any late Nights-out on a Friday night in Cardiff? The ‘clubbers’ from work are going out and I may tag along if I can get a ‘proper’ dance in :-).

None as far as I know - Cafe Mambo in Swansea is the nearest. If you can persuade them to go out on a Saturday there’s always La Tasca.

Hey guys,

I know that every Wednesday a posse of salseros come over to Bristol for our classes and especially the Party that follows … Cardiff’s Andy Witt teaches Int & Advanced at least once every month @ Jongleurs! Andy shares the teaching responsibilities with Henry Viña, Helena & Nicolai, Mauricio Reyes, Moe Flex, Saher Sidhom, Osbanis Tejeda & Nico Valiente… Many of the best teachers in the UK

I’m sure that those who do come over will want to get a full load in their vehicles so it might be worth asking around or organising a posse yourself, assuming of course you’re interested in making the journey, as it is a bit of a trek about a 45min drive with a bridge toll at the severn crossing! But it is one of the busiest Salsa Parties in the South West…

Bonus we do give discounts to people travelling from Wales … So hope to see you there!

Forgot to mention Mauricio Reyes but can’t edit my post for some reason!

Steve are you feeling ok? You did mention Mauricio! ;)

See you tomorrow! YAY :)

I’m desperate for a good night out!

I know you have a rather odd history of deciding what can be promoted where on this site, but that excuse is bizarre beyond belief.

What possible benefit can it be for people who are searching for some salsa? There are plenty of people who only do classes, and they’d expect to find them listed on a page of “Classes, clubs, venues, & latin events listings for salsa in Cardiff, South Wales”.

How many of those casual visitors do you think hang around and browse through the forum (through postings with titles with probably only a tenuous link to the subject being discussed) in the hope that they might find some other reference to something they assumed would be on the front page or not at all?

I presume its not a good idea to query the rationale behind the Events page?
