Message 43 · 30 Aug 2009 17:40 GMT Hi Rachy, Yes it’s absolutely find to go along to a Salsa class on your own. Most classes are on a drop in basis and you partner up randomly and regularly change partners throughout the classes. That way you get to meet lots of new people and make new friends. The classes at Jumpin Jak’s is the biggest regular salsa night in Cardiff, so yes by all means give it a go. Good luck, have fun. |

I would like to thank everyone helped me to learn Salsa dance, especially who was dancing with me and providing me some support and my nice teacher Andy. It is my pleasure to meet new friends. So thank you very much all. |

Message 47 · 10 Oct 2010 16:04 GMT Hey, I’m thinking about going to one of the classes this week, but am just a bit nervous because I’ve got no dance partner. I love to dance though! Will it be a problem not having a partner? |

Message 48 · 11 Oct 2010 10:43 GMT Hi Yvette, All our classes rotate partners regularly, so there’s no need to have a partner. It’s also a great way to meet new people to dance with. See you on the dance floor. www.dancalatina.com |

Message 49 · 4 Jan 2011 00:27 GMT Hi I’d love to come to Salsa lessons, but I’m 45 and don’t wanna be the oldest swinger in town! Are there any classes for us middle-agers? Lol! |

Message 50 · 5 Jan 2011 19:33 GMT I started at 44 (which is nearly 10 years ago now) and I’m far from the oldest dancer in Cardiff. Age isn’t a problem if you’ve got the right attitude. Last time I went O’Neill’s had the broadest age spread, though I prefer Music Hall on a Thursday myself. |
