As a single female what is your feedback on going alone?

Be brave and ask the more experienced male dancers for a dance. (As a beginner you will progress faster dancing with the more experienced dancers) Most are happy to dance with new people. The Salsa crowd are a generally welcoming group of peolpe. You do not need a regular partner as there is frequent changes of partner when you do the classes. I for one am always happy to dance with beginners/ new people. Look out for the black and white shoes.

Good advice. Being brave also means you get to choose who you dance with, which has to be better than only dancing with the people who ask you.
