Hi Leanne,
The first few classes can be a bit nerve racking, but everyone is very friendly, and once you feel comfortable you will soon begin to relax and enjoy it.
Having no partner doesn’t matter at all, as many classes rotate partners regularly.
As far as recommending any particular class, it’s difficult to say:
It’s probably best to go along and sample both the large class and small class environment to see which suits you best.
Here are a few comments to help you decide, the three main nights in Cardiff are:
Monday nights at O’Neill’s - One of the best venues in Cardiff, popular with all ages.
Tuesday nights at Cuba - Very popular amongst those in your age group.
Thursday nights at Risa - Cardiff’s biggest Salsa night. Classes split into three levels taken by different teachers.
There are also various smaller classes at La Tasca with Anna and Tiger Tiger with Tammi both on Wednesday nights. Anna also teaches another small class at St Peter’s Rugby Club on Fridays evenings. Anna’s sister Irene also teaches at various Rugby and Fitness clubs around Cardiff most nights of the week.
