I would like to start salsa dancing in Cardiff, but I don't really know where to start. All the places on this site look good, but I am only 17 and don't really have a clue about which one, if any, would be best for me. I hope I'm not completely hopeless when it comes to dancing, but I have never tried salsa before. Can anyone suggest where I should start?

Don't worry, thaf. Seventeen is a good age to start learning salsa. All the nights featured on Salsa Cardiff are worth a look so I'm not going to recommend one in particular. Take a look at the FAQ and read some of the topics on the forum for background information and post again if you have any more questions.

Probably the best thing to do is to try the different nights and see what suits you.

Don't be put off if you don't like the first place you go. My personal experience is the different classes have very different atmospheres depending on the crowd and venue, even when it's the same instructors.
