Thanks to everyone for posting a few songs.

The reason for the post was to mainly find some new songs that I have possible missed over the years.

I teach classes every night of the week all over south and west Wales, and we have a party for my students every month. I also perform in salsa events, singing and performing shows, and don’t need no help running my events thank you eldj

All I was asking was for a few different salsa tracks (not DJ) that maybe I have missed, so I could have a look at them myself to see if they would be suitable for my nights.

I shall take a look over the songs mentioned in the above posts, and see if I can use them.

Thank you very much to everyone that has posted.

Oh and thanks for posting Steve. I have not been on the forum for a while so have been unable to post myself.

Thanks

Carl

Good luck with your endeavours Carl...

However, the fact that you have posted in a forum asking for advise however you may put it, is indicative of the fact that you require some help in the field of providing music for your event/s...

Perhaps you feel the few songs posted will make a difference!!!

My advise was good advise! It comes from years of experience and still stands! It’s just straight forward, honest and upfront advise meant to be taken positively and was given with the best intent, even though some people may be taking that advise personally, as though it were an insult or a slight on your ability... It’s not... it’s just a realistic appraisal of your situation, from someone with experience in the field...

I have been an instructor / promoter / DJ for around 16 years! I know just about everyone of note in this business and know of no one who can, or would try to, cover all aspects of the business 100% of time at a professional level... And that Includes myself!!!

Your aficionados may or may not be happy with the tunes you have available to you, but you clearly are not!

Hiring a DJ (I’m not offering my services by the way!!!) would in fact be a sensible option to help to provide ‘Salsa tracks that always get you on the dance floor’... the request made in the OP

Regards,

Steve
